PAYMENTS, DEPOSITS & PACKAGES POLICY (Client-Facing Version)

At Bloom Hair Atelier, we are committed to delivering high-quality, professional services in a calm and well-structured environment.

To ensure fairness to all clients and our team, the following policy outlines how payments, deposits, and packages are managed.


1. PAYMENTS FOR SERVICES

1.1 Services Rendered

Once a service has been provided, payments are non-refundable.

This applies regardless of:

  • A change in personal preference after the service
  • Differences between the final result and an inspiration photo discussed
  • Services involving client-supplied hair or products
  • Failure to follow recommended aftercare

💡 Because salon services are personalised and time-based, completed services cannot be refunded.

1.2 Payment at Bloom Hair Atelier

To ensure fairness and smooth operations:

  • Payment is required at the completion of your service
  • All invoices must be settled before leaving the salon
  • Bloom Hair Atelier does not operate on credit

If you have questions about pricing or services:

  • Our team is happy to explain charges clearly
  • Any service concerns are reviewed through our service recovery process

1.3 Service Concerns

If you feel a service did not meet our professional standard due to execution, we’re happy to review it.

Any concerns are handled through our Service Recovery & Quality Assurance process, which may include:

  • A service adjustment, or
  • A redo of the same service

Requests must be raised within 48 hours of your appointment and reviewed in person at the salon.

Refunds are not issued at the front desk.


2. DEPOSITS

2.1 Purpose of Deposits

Deposits are required for selected services to:

  • Secure your appointment
  • Protect time reserved specifically for you
  • Reduce last-minute cancellations and no-shows

The deposit amount is communicated at the time of booking.

2.2 Deposit Application

  • Deposits form part of your total service cost
  • The balance is payable after your service

2.3 Deposit Refunds & Cancellations

  • Deposits are non-refundable once paid
  • If you are unable to attend, we are happy to reschedule your appointment, subject to our Booking & Scheduling Policy
  • If a booking is cancelled entirely, the deposit is forfeited

3. PACKAGES (SERVICE BUNDLES)

3.1 What a Package Is

A package is a prepaid bundle of services offered at a preferential rate in exchange for:

  • Advance commitment
  • Structured use within a defined time period
  • Adherence to Bloom’s booking and scheduling rules

Packages are not pay-as-you-go services and are not refundable credits.

3.2 Package Validity & Expiry

  • All packages have a defined validity period, shared at the point of purchase
  • Validity starts from the date of first use or purchase, as specified
  • Any unused services expire automatically at the end of the validity period

Expired packages cannot be redeemed.

3.3 Booking with a Package

  • Package appointments must be booked in advance, like all other services
  • Packages do not guarantee availability at specific dates or peak times
  • Availability depends on service duration, technician availability, and existing bookings

Inability to secure a preferred appointment time does not qualify for:

  • Refunds
  • Package cancellation
  • Compensation

3.4 Package Refunds

All packages are non-refundable once purchased, whether:

  • Fully unused
  • Partially used
  • Expired
  • A client changes their mind
  • Preferred appointment times are unavailable

💡 Packages are discounted commitments, not refundable reservations.

3.5 Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases, and at management’s discretion only, we may approve:

  • A one-time validity extension, or
  • Conversion of unused services to non-cash salon credit

Any such concession:

  • Is not guaranteed
  • Is documented
  • Does not set a precedent

4. IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Refunds, credits, or exceptions are never negotiated at the front desk
  • All decisions are applied consistently to protect fairness for all clients
  • Abuse of booking rules may result in restricted booking access
